ACT was contracted by Southland Industries to manufacture and assembly a 35,000 CFM, field-built, custom AHU. The new unit had to be rigged through a 40” x 40” roof hatch and assembled in the penthouse on a concrete housekeeping pad. Unit construction included thermal break casings, Merv-8 & 14 pre-filters, hot water pre-heat and reheat coils, chilled water coils, humidifier manifold, and plenum fan.
