ACT offers a full line of air filters and air filter housings for use in air handling units, ventilation duct systems, outside air plenums, and clean rooms. ACT represents Flanders Filters and can assist in the selection of filters and filter housings for any application. The major categories for air filters and housings are as follows.

• ASHRAE Filters and housings. These filters are used to remove particulates from the air stream and offer a range of efficiencies from MERV-6 through MERV-16.
• Gas and odor filters and housings. These filters are used to remove gases and odors from the air stream.
• HEPA and ULPA filters and housings. These filters are used for “absolute” particulate removal. Each filter is individually tested with efficiencies of 99.97%, 99.99% and 99.9995%. Filters and housings can be duct or ceiling mounted.
• Clean room filters. These filters are used in critical environments where the HEPA or ULPA filters are typically installed in the ceiling of the environment being served. The HEPA or ULPA filters can be mounted in sealed housings complete with balancing dampers and test injection manifolds. These filters can also be provided with integral booster fans. Both styles are typically installed in either hard or drop ceilings. They can also be provided with a complete clean room ceiling grid system.
