Following Hurricane Sandy, ACT was contracted by Johnson controls to perform expedited design, production, and field assembly of six custom, field-built AHU’s totaling over 200,000 CFM. Units ranged from 20,000 to 40,000 CFM in capacity and included, thermal break casings, steam pre-heat coils, chilled water coils, humidifier manifolds, direct drive plenum fans, final blow thru filters and marine-grade floor coating system.
